As part of the Play Nordic platform, NOMEX and the Nordic Music Export Offices are producing a one day masterclass and workhop on Music Media Marketing in Germany for a Nordic delegation of music professionals. The event aims to increase market knowledge for participating Nordic professionals, and give them access to established trade networks in Germany, and on a pan-Nordic level. The project is in collaboration with the Nordic embassies, local German music industry and media partners.
Five professionals from each Nordic country will participate; benefitting from an extensive introduction to the German media market, including key players, dynamics and statistics. An expert panel of both Nordic and German speakers will then provide acute insight into challenges, possible pitfalls and best practice. Participants will later break into small groups for interactive and coached workshops. The evening will be a more informal social networking event.
The event coincides with the important German music conference Reeperbahn Festival, whose international program starts the following day, creating natural added value for Nordic professionals already traveling through Berlin to Hamburg.
